We’re incredibly proud to announce that Amy Beeching Grimes, Service Administrator at PLP Fire Protection, has been shortlisted as a finalist for Administrator of the Year at the prestigious Women in Fire Safety Awards 2025.
The Women in Fire Safety Awards honour the outstanding achievements of exceptional women across the industry, and the Administrator of the Year category recognises individuals who go above and beyond in their support, consistency, and dedication—those who are the true backbone of their organisations.
Amy has been just that for PLP Fire Protection for over 13 years.
Her meticulous planning, deep technical knowledge, and unwavering support have played a central role in our success. From spearheading the rollout of our job management system to championing compliance with key industry certifications, Amy’s contributions have transformed how we work. She’s known not only for her technical and organisational expertise but for her genuine care—supporting colleagues, uplifting morale, and ensuring every client interaction is handled with empathy and professionalism.
Amy has already been recognised as an Unsung Hero by News On The Block, and we’re thrilled to see her receive further recognition at a national level.
We’re excited to attend the Women in Fire Safety Awards ceremony on Thursday 18th September 2025 at the Leonardo Royal Hotel in London (E1 8GP). The team will be suited and booted in Black Tie for the occasion as we celebrate the incredible women driving excellence in our industry.
The event is supported by the Institute of Fire Safety Managers, whose commitment to gender diversity and empowering women in fire safety aligns with everything this award represents.
Congratulations, Amy! Your quiet brilliance and dedication continue to inspire us all.
