PLP join our colleagues across the Obsequio Group to Fundraise for Youth 4 Youth!

We’re proud to announce that PLP Fire Protection will be joining our colleagues across the Obsequio Group in fundraising this year for Youth4Youth (Y4Y).

This will be a year-long fundraising campaign, with a collective target of £10,000, supporting an incredible charity making a real impact on young people across the UK.

Mount Snowdon Hike Fundraiser

On Saturday 6th June 2026, representing PLP Fire on the mountain will be a mixed team of our managers and engineers; Dan Tomlin, Darragh Grimes, Jamie Walker, Jack Buchanan and Mikey Barnett – taking on the climb to help raise awareness and vital funds for this incredible cause.

We’ll be joining 50 other members of the Obsequio Group, climbing the Snowdon Ranger Path and descending via the Llanberis path. Creating an 11 mile round trip, we’ll be guided by professional mountain guides and are excited to take on this challenge for such a fantastic cause!

Supporting Youth4Youth (Y4Y)

Youth4Youth is a volunteer-led organisation providing peer-to-peer support for young people aged 10–25. Their work gives young people access to a trusted confidante — someone they can talk to about the worries, pressures, and challenges they face in everyday life.

Through safe conversations and support networks, Y4Y plays a vital role in improving mental wellbeing and helping young people feel heard, supported, and less alone.

Working Together Across the Obsequio Group

Together with the wider Obsequio Group, we’re excited to support Youth4Youth in their ambitious goal of helping 213,000 young people by 2028.

To help drive fundraising across the Group, each company has appointed a Charity Champion to lead the charge with ideas, initiatives, and team engagement.

Representing PLP Fire Protection is our very own Nadia Collingwood, who will be coordinating our fundraising efforts and encouraging participation across the team.

We’re looking forward to getting involved, working together, and raising funds for such a meaningful cause.
