Once your system has been correctly selected and designed, it is important that the installation is carried out by an IFC SDI 19 Certified Company to ensure continued compliance.
We will ensure that the installation is carried out in accordance with Approved Document B, BS9991, BS7346, BS8519 and EN12101

- Correct interpretation of design drawing and specification
- Correct use and selection of products and cable
- Correct installation of cable and products in accordance with design drawing and specification
- System installation in accordance with current standards and manufactures guidelines

It is important that the appointed installation company understand the system they are installing, often contractors that do not hold IFC SDI 19 have very little knowledge of the standards and requirement of smoke control systems. This often ends up with incorrect cables being installed, the wrong selection and installation of products and very often little or no handover documentation furthermore they are also unable to provide IFC certification of the installation.
